At Next Solution we know a lot about connecting to the IBM AS/400 or iseries machines. David Culley, the current MD of Next Solution, used to be the head of BOS Better On Line Solutions, the AS/400 International R&D company in the UK in the 1990's and promoted and supported Twinax and TCP-IP solutions from BOS into many AS/400 sites through resellers and to end user customers. We still help Twinax customers with connectivity issues allowing existing Twinax devices to be connected to the Host via TCP-IP using the BOS e-Twinax controller or help to switch old IBM terminals to a (WAN/LAN/VPN) TCP-IP PC or thin client connection. The e-Twinax controller offers remote access over the internet for any Twinax devices. Our solutions now include Priaim as well as BOS, BOS and Twinet have gateways for accessing the host remotely and iseries console Twinax or Ethernet connected which are easy to use and install. We have easy to use money saving thin clients with TCP-IP connections to replace terminals but which have 5250 emulation embedded and can be either Windows desktop or WBT terminal (username and sign on) mode. BOSaNOVA WEB is a server based solution allowing Browsers to connect over WAN, LAN VPN Internet etc. Its a concurrent user license and provides green on black or GUI screen display and printer emulation.
